About me
Heiner Wolf, Technical Director
I am a technical director. I love to execute and optimize. I have been developer, team lead, technical lead, agile coach, project manager, founder, PO, CTO, CEO.
I make all you need on the tech side for products, by myself or with a team. I also write business plans and talk to customers if necessary. I love to code and still do – or let the agent do – C#, TS, C++, Python, Go. Though, there is not much time on the job. So, I program in my spare time. I provide the work environment for agile development teams to work productively in agentic times. Important aspects: reliability, scalability, engineering quality, time to market, specs driven, behaviour driven.
I founded several companies and built a corporate startup. I introduced agile processes early and several times got a real development speedup and increase of user satisfaction.
I have several hobby projects: writing stories and writing code. I attend conferences. I blog, publish, and speak. I have built systems for millions of users and millions of revenue.
That's my offer.

Some Inventions:
(Usually while other engineers were doing the same, as most do.)
- Live video on a web page (actually the world's first live web video and live chat)
- REST (yes, Roy is more famous for that)
- Microservice architecture (like many engineers at the time, before it had a name)
- Web GUI for devices (world's first, really)
- Animated GIF (kind of, you wouldn't know GIF animations without the first GIF-Movie 1995, nor APNG)
- World's smallest web server (68332 MC board, the MIT's was larger but more talked about)
- SPA and AJAX (world's first: DHTML & Netscape 2 frame long polling & JS)
- DevOps (like many startup solo-devs who had to run their stuff by themselves)
- Scrum Gantt
- JsonPath C# lib (because iterating hierarchical data structures does not have to be painful)
- Early MVC framework for PHP (out of necessity before Symfony was a thing)
